Nigerian branch of the International Law Association (ILA-NG) will hold its annual conference on March 5, 2019 at Arbitration Centre.
The aim of the conference is to examine issues in the development and practice of international business and human rights law in Nigeria,
The conference will focus on emerging business and human rights norms in international law as well as how the interpretation and application of international law could support businesses in this important area.
The Chairman of the conference organizing committee, Professor Damilola S. Olawuyi said.
“This year’s conference will provide a significant opportunity for stakeholders, especially corporate lawyers, and non-lawyers in business, government, economic and financial spheres, to sharpen their understanding of the contours of this emerging area of international law,”
Lawyers, non-lawyers in business and financial spheres, academics, advocate, practitioners and students interested in international law, would attend the conference, he added.
Branch President, Prof. Fidelis Oditah (SAN), Prof. Ibironke Odumosu, Dr. Babatunde Ajibade, (SAN) and Seni Adio, SAN would be among the speakers.
