#MorningTips: 4 Success Tips Incredibly Successful People will Tell You.

Often times, success in life is as simple as modeling what successful people have done and adding a personal touch to it. Have you ever wanted to ask a successful person what is it that made them successful?
I have gotten the chance to do that a few times in my life and most have a few tips in common.
Here are the top 4 success tips incredibly successful people will probably tell you in no particular order:
4. Choose your friends wisely
No matter who you ask, you will probably get the above statement, be selective of the people that surround you. When it comes to your friends, family, or employees, it is said that you are the average of the 5 closest people around you. It makes perfect sense.
Success follows and motivates success. Think about it, who do you think gives you the highest chance of success, Tony Robbins, Bill Gates, Walt Disney, Henry Ford or a group of local homeless people?
Although I’m sure there is a homeless man out there that has a good lesson to teach you, it is obvious that being around other successful people will propel your chances of being successful yourself.
Take a look at those that surround you, if you are “hanging out” with negative people, complainers, and people with no aspirations, then part of you will be influenced by their characteristics at one point or another, whether you like it or not.
Cut the time you spend with the naysayers and start finding friends that you admire, they will help propel you to a whole new level of success.
3. Don’t be afraid to challenge yourself
Are you afraid of a little challenge? When most people reach a challenge or obstacle, it is human nature to find excuses to deviate or stop going.

ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king’s wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way.

a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded.

the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway.
The peasant learned what many of us never understand – “Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.”
We use every excuse in the books; I don’t have enough money, I don’t have the knowledge, I don’t have the time for it… I don’t, I can’t…blah, blah, blah…
Excuses will keep you from reaching success. Don’t be afraid to face challenges. Success is hiding right behind one of those obstacles.
2. Keep trying; focus and you will succeed
One of the greatest success tips you will ever get is to put every ounce of energy into whatever it is you want to achieve and you will eventually succeed. It’s the law of probability, the more you try and the more focus you put into something, the greater your chance of being successful.
“It’s not how many times you fall that matters; it’s how many times you get back up.” George A. Custer
1. Don’t be afraid to fail
In business, like in most things in life, you are always competing with about 7 billion other people. Everyone in the world wants to have success in one form or another. It is your attitude, commitment and perseverance that will get you to the top 5% of humanity.
Failure is your greatest teacher and behind each one is a great lesson. These are lessons you do not learn in school, and cannot be taught by others.
Success will make you feel good but it won’t teach you as much as a failure.
Every one of us will fail many times in life, what makes successful people different is that they learn from their defeats, and use those lessons to win.
