The senior special adviser to the governor on the Administration and Policy Planning, said that the security summit was designed to create a conducive environment for investors in the state, Ogunmusere stated:
“The geographical location of Ondo State is such that people with criminal tendencies make inroad into the state from neighbouring states. “It is for these reason that Mr. Governor (Rotimi Akeredolu) decided to constitute this committee to package and organise a summit on Thursday 17th January, 2019.”
He explained that the summit which is the first of its kind would take a holistic approach to addressing the security challenges in the state.
