Yesterday’s fixtures were somewhat called Fever pitch a tid-bit of the entire matches that were played over the weekend. The weekend games for each leagues was played yesterday Sunday 13th with a lot of teams happy with their results while the losers seek to go and right their wrongs.

It was fever pitch at the Villa park as Arsenal stole all three points from the home side to top the English premier league, Giroud’s eight minute penalty put the gunners up front while Aaron Ramsey’s 86th goal made sure to put pressure on 20th placed Aston villa. Tottenham suffered a defeat from brilliant tactician-Steve Mclauren after bringing in Mitrovic and Ayoze in the later stages to come back from a goal down with Eric Dier’s headed effort at goal. Spurs hoped to extend their unbeaten streak to fifteen games but Newcastle denied them this victory at White Hart Lane. At Anfield, Liverpool drew 2-2 with Westbrom after a late Divok Origi’s looping deflected effort, Henderson put the home side upfront in the 6th minute but Dawson and Jonas almost took the three points for the baggies until Origi’s effort. Leicester city hosts defending champions Chelsea tomorrow 8pm.

Late David Junca’s own goal saved newly hired coach Gary Neville’s blushes as 10-man Valencia stole a point from the basques at Mestalla. Home side Atletico Madrid ensured victory over Athletic club after coming back from Lapotre’s goal with a 45th minute Saul equalizer and Griezman’s 67th goal to ensure Atletico extend their lead over Real Madrid in the table. Away Malaga also beat Rayo Vallecano 2-1 as Charles and Duje cop canceled out Javi Guerra’s 6th minute goal.

Borussia Dortmund decimated away Frankfurt with a 4-1 win at the Signa Iduna park, which saw Aubameyang miss from the spot kick in the 45th minute . Frankfurt took the lead at the 6th minute with an Alexander Meier’s goal but Henry Mkhitaryan 24th goal put the two sides level at half time. Aubameyand restituted for his penalty miss with a 54th goal to put Dortmund. He also got goals from Mats Hummels and Adrian Ramos at the 61st and 86th minute to complete the comeback for the home side.
