The Weekend Game

The weekend game of high expectations. After the final matches of the champions league group stages occurred this week in which some teams made it to the knockout stages while others bust and were relegated to the Europa league. Each team would now go back to their domestic leagues this weekend to make things right or continue with their winning form, the English premier league has fixtures which are eye watering such as savage Leicester against poor side chelsea.

The former has been in tremendous form so far this season sitting top of the table and the later sit amongst the bottom ten of the table.

Let’s see what the weekend game players have for us.

Chelsea fans hope for results after their 2-0 win against FC Porto earlier this week, while Leicester who are no respecter of big clubs look to plunge a hole to a struggling side and hope to harness the relationship of Vardy and Mahrez to their advantage.United face Bournemouth after their loss for Wolfsburg earlier this week and a lackluster performance in previous premier league matches.

Arsenal aren’t left out of the action too as they look to carry their confidence from Wednesday’s away win against Olympiakos to villa park this Sunday. Manchester city as well look to continue their good form with the resurgence of sterling against Sevilla this week they would welcome the swans to Etihad after the later recently departed from longtime coach Gary Monk. Tottenham also welcomes Newcastle on Sunday after their 4-1 routing earlier this week in the europa league. Liverpool looks for positive result against Westbrom after being held to a goaless draw by sos in the europa league.Everton hopes to continue form away at Norwich. Southampton visits selhurst park this saturday also Watford away to stadium of light as Westham welcomes stoke.

La liga doesn’t lag behind too in all the actions this weekend as Gary Neville hopes to secure a win in his debut Laliga game as Valencia’s coach against Eibar.

Bundesliga also have a flurry of interesting fixtures as Dortmund hope to turn their loss yesterday in the Europa League to a win against Eintracht Frankfurt at the signa iduna park, ex-red striker Javier Hernandez looks to continue his goal scoring form against Borussia Mochengladbach and Wolfsburg also seek to take their win against united against hamburg this Saturday.
