Super Eagles Gets New Manager

Gernot Rohr has been announced as the Super Eagles of Nigeria’s new manager. The German takes over from caretaker coach Salisu Yusuf.

Gernot Rohr, 63, will be in charge of his first game against Tanzania in Port Harcourt, in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match. He agreed on a 2-year contract with the NFF Technical and Development Committee.

He has previously been the man calling the shots at African national teams including Gabon, Niger and Burkina Faso, French clubs, Bordeaux, Nice, Ajaccio and Nantes.
