It was indeed an act of service to God and to mankind as a group title the “Mormons helping hands” move to the Street of Lagos particularly in Oniwaya road, one of the Streets in Agege to honour God and their fellowmen by rendering a passionate and voluntary community service.
Mormon Helping Hands happens to be a priesthood-directed Church program which serves to provide community service and disaster relief to those in need. It was established in 1998 in Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile to help communities affected in different areas.
It was awesome and amazing to see individuals of different ages both young and old coming out in mass amidst their tied schedules to give of their time, energy, love and kindness to their fellow mankind in mode of service. The community were so amazed and astonished of such love demonstrated by this group and wonder if such religious group does exist.
