We bring you event news from St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Ogudu. As part of the activities to commemorate the Parish Youth Week 2015 tagged “A New Cruse“, the youths took it upon themselves to sensitize people in the neighborhood on two health related matters – Malaria and HIV. As we all know that too many people are dying of malaria and HIV today in out community.
The event which took place this morning started as early as 7:00am and lasted for about 2hrs. Isn’t that interesting?
As part of their social impact, this youths have been able to make an impact on the lives of citizens. They have actually set a pace for their youth counterpart in other denominations to follow suite.
Entertainment was not left out as the the brigade team led with sweet sounding tones and you needed to see some exclusive dance steps.
The youth week activities doesn’t actually end with this road work awareness, more activities still lies ahead. Let me just give you a glimpse of what to expect: Oluwafunmilayo Ibukunoluwa Ajayi, popularly known as Funmi Sax will be performing live on Thursday July 24th, 2015 during the Concert & Praise Night. Do you know that Funmi Sax is one of the few ladies in Nigeria that play saxophone. Don’t be told, be there yourself. I know you won’t want to miss this. See the program schedule below.
