A New Yorker is sued his ex-fiancée because she ended their engagement but won’t return the $30,000 custom-made engagement ring he gave her.
Philip Langer, 45, proposed to leggy blonde Ashley Jae Chesler, 43, just three months after they met in a bar at Manhattan.
He thought he sealed the deal with a stunning sparkler that featured a 2.52 carat diamond surrounded by 34 rubies and 55 smaller diamonds. Langer spent $30,000 to have the ring made.
But Chesler suddenly called off the relationship
Months have come and gone, but Chesler has still not returned the flashy expensive band.
State law requires that she return the ring since she called off the relationship, Langer says in court papers. Philip Langer wants a judge to force Chesler to return the ring or pay him the equivalent in cash. But Chesler has not been reached to get a feedback.
I trust warri boys, shout out to ’em 🙂
