After weeks of consultations by the Students Union Government to relevant Stakeholders, it is very clear now that the strike won’t end anytime soon as both parties (the State Government and the Staff Unions of LASPOTECH) are not ready to shift grounds for each other.

Having taken into considerations, the agitations of the entire students of our great Polytechnic of Excellence, the need to maintain and sustain our ever stable Academic Calendar, and the need to secure our own future;

The Comr. Lawal Dauda led Students’ Union Government is left with no choice than to let the State Government know that we are sick and tired of these ongoing crisis, as such a peaceful protest shall be staged today, Thursday, 11th May 2017 at the State house, Alausa, Ikeja, our demand is very simple WE WANT TO RESUME.
Greatest Nigerian Students, please be aware that we are not supporting any of the Parties involved in the ongoing crisis. Our demand is for the general interest of us all.
We hereby call upon all students who are passionate about returning to school to join this peaceful protest today, buses would be available to convey students to Alausa at both Ikorodu and Isolo campus around 8:00am.
