Manufacturing invasion expected in Lagos as thousands gather for MAN Expo this week

Lagos will welcome thousands of manufacturing experts this week at the third annual mPAD & inaugural Nigeria Manufacturing Expo (MAN Expo) from 15-17 March at the Landmark Centre in the Nigerian city. The event is launched in response to the government’s commitment to industrialization and Nigeria’s need to diversify.


MAN Expo will feature the latest and most innovative machines, tools, automation technology and specialist financing offerings by the leading international and local manufacturing equipment and services suppliers, such as GEA West Africa, Clearpack Singapore, Diamond Bank, Kautex Maschinenbau GmbH, Festo Automation, Miele Packaging, Gil Automation, the Bühler Group, Sterling Bank and Thomson & Grace.


Expert conference sessions

The exhibition also offers free industry training and knowledge building conference sessions presented by and for the industry: dozens of experts from the manufacturing industry will share their expertise and best practice from sectors including business management,  finance, pharmaceutical, packaging, automotive, agro and food and beverage processing.

mPAD programme

The third annual mPAD (Manufacturing Partnerships for African Development) will take place alongside the MAN Expo.  It is an invitation only set of round table discussions chaired by the President of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) and the DG of the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade & Investment of Nigeria. They will host federal government agencies, ECOWAS officials, the MAN executive committee, international trade departments and export councils as well as C-level industrialists and financiers.


The upcoming Nigeria Manufacturing Expo is MAN’s official trade expo hosted in partnership with Spintelligent Pty and Clarion Events Ltd, African event specialists and organisers of the West African Power Industry Convention (WAPIC).
