The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed had said during a meeting that the Federal Government will look in to ways they can help the local nearby channel and stop the trend whereby contents meant for the Nigerian public is delivered abroad and brought into the nation for utilization.

All Progressive Congress (APC), has suggested that Peter of Psquare should be arrested for statements he made in reaction to the move by FG to ban foreign produced contents.
The artist additionally remarked on the issue saying if Peter of Psquare is arrested, then Nigerian Musicians will look for the President who is away in London and tell him about the issue.
