Agila Carnival is a social and economic flash-pot to invigorate Idoma cultural renaissance ; an expression of the splendour of Idoma rich cultural tapestry, and a festivity which is not only intended to make Idoma conspicuous but to draw the world’s attention to its social, economic and cultural resources that are fast depleting out of several years of neglect and require urgent conservation, promotion and development.
The platform, beyond being an annual gathering and rendezvous for traditionally distinguished carnival revellers from all over the world, is a social instrument and strategy for mobilizing capital and investment and a moment for socio-economic advancement of the people.
THE MISSION OF THE CARNIVAL
The primary aim of establishing Agila carnival is to create a platform to facilitate interaction among Nigerians to understand the process of setting up a successful business in Idoma land.
The organisers have taken a long hard look at the current growth of the Nigerian economy after the re-basing of its GDP and affirm that it is a strong initiative.
