Zainab Balogun, Makida Moka, Enyi Omeruah, Omorinsojo Spaine, Adeolu Adefarasin, Soma were some of the stars on the weekly conversational series “The Ask Series” hosted by The Waterside Ikoyi with the all-round entertainer Chioma Omeruah popularly known as Chigul.
This edition was a bang with Comedian, Singer and Actress as she took the attendees through her life journey and how she landed her role in the Banana Island Ghost movie.
Speaking at this edition, The Comedian said, “The name ‘Chigul’ was gotten from a toaster once upon a time.” “I spent 12 years in America before moving back to Nigeria prior to my father’s death,” she added.

On how she went through the period of her father’s death, the comedian said that she being able to wake up the next morning after the incident and go on with life meant she could go on.
“My biggest achievement so far is being the star actress of the movie ‘Banana Island Ghost,” Chigul said. She further emphasized that one needs to be careful what one posts on social media because the internet does not forgive. She not only mentioned that she speaks French, Igbo, Hausa, Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, English (American & British), pidgin amongst others, she showcased her linguistic skills in these languages.
