Shop Worker Poisons His Boss With Viagra

A home store shop worker has appeared in court charged with poisoning his boss with the s*x drug Viagra on April Fool’s Day.

Benjamin Chope was charged with unlawfully and maliciously administering to Daniel Webber a poison or other destructive or noxious substance, namely Sildenafil.

The substance, identified as Viagra, was administered with an intent to injure aggrieve and annoy Mr Webber, a court was told.

Torbay magistrates in south Devon, England, heard that the alleged offence happened in Newton Abbot, Devon, on April 1st.

Chope, 24, of Newton Abbot, did not enter a plea when he appeared before the judicial officers who decided the case was so serious it must go to a Crown Court.

Chope is said to appear before a judge in 3 weeks time.

He was grated conditional bail but must not contact Mr Webber or go to the Home Bargains store in Kingsteignton, Devon.
