Yes, the Kidney transplant was successfully conducted a few years ago with donations from well meaning Nigerians, but it is believed that OJB has been on weekly dialysis since then as his condition never really improved.
He has been out of public eye since the operation and many sources claim he has been a shadow of his real self.
