How It All Went Down At The City People Award 2015

City people entertainment award which is one of the biggest award in Nigeria held their sixth edition of awards at the prestigious Time Square event centre at Ikeja. The event was graced by  every celeb you can ever think of in Nigeria. looking at the caliber of people at the event, you will agree with me that city people entertainment needed to receive kudos for their immense effort in making this event a reality.

The atmosphere at the city people award was  glamorous, fun, entertaining and secure. Starting right from the entrance, the hefty appearance of the bouncers will scare you. That’s kudos to Royalsec Limited.

The host of the this year’s city people award, Ehiz and Bhaira McWizu were at their best. We know Ehis to be the hosts of the popular weekly MTV Base chart show (The Official Naija Top 10 ) while Bhaira  is the Star actress who shot to limelight after winning the third Amstel Malta Box Office (AMBO) reality show

Coming to the awards segment, remarkable award was given to Prince Edwin for his contribution to entertainment industry. When  he was presented with the award, he thanked the organizer of the event and his fans for the opportunity to receive the award.

Another award of remarkable contribution was also given to Sony Otachi for his innumerable works so far. Otunba Sesan was also given award of remarkable excellence. He also thanked the city people award team on behalf of goldmyne entertainment.

Some other nominees who were given special award of remarkable contribution includes Mr Emmanuel Ogugwua, Olu Jacob and wife,

According to Olu Jacob, they got married 30yrs ago. He went further by saying that ever since the day he decided to marry his wife he has always been thinking for two and he has not gotten any reason to regret. He commended his wife by saying that his wife is the type of wife that every man out there would love to have. This statement ignited a classic smile on her face… trust women.

Wofai Samuel was also spotted at the event. She was gorgeous in her outfit. You might be wondering who is this Wofai Samuel. She was an executive assistant to cross river state government, past brand executive nigezie, crunch AIT, red carpet NTA international. She is presently a pundit for the Nollys live in London, she is also kora awards representative in Nigeria and presenter of entertainment expose DSTV 255. I can tell you that she is really loaded.

Back to the entertainment section, Lekesax, a promising saxophone player was the first to entertain the audience with his mind blowing sax. Listening to him tells you that be was actually in control of the game.

Seyi law was not left out as he entertained the audience with his jokes. He took the audience out of the box back to the days when he was much younger. He reminded us of those kindergarten songs especially those ones believed to be common among public school pupils… I know you remember them.

Do you know that Yoruba people knows how to hail their own. For over 20minutes that awards of Hausa and Ghana category was given, you could hardly see change in reaction  from the audience. Immediately the awards got to Yoruba category when Mercy was called to receive award, there a was transformation in the level of hailing and jubilation.

The organizing team of the city people award 2015 thanked everyone that has contributed in one way or the order for their support. See you guys again at the next edition
